Austin Bakes for Japan, Saturday April 2nd

Thank you for visiting Austin Bakes for Japan! We’re a group of bloggers, foodies and local businesses based in Austin, Texas, who are raising money for relief efforts in Japan. We’re fundraising for Americares, a non-profit dedicated to providing short and long-term humanitarian relief on the ground in Japan.

We’re just getting started! Soon we’re going to post tons of specific information about the bake sales, bake sale recipes, a blog roll of who’s involved, and more information about the delectable temptations we’ll be selling on April 2nd.

Here’s how you can help Japan and get involved today:

1. Make a gift right now using this link. Donating through Firstgiving is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support our fundraising efforts. 100% of the funds raised here and at the bake sale will go directly to Americares.

2. If you’re in Austin, please bake some food or sign up to volunteer at the bake sale! Clicking that link will put you in touch with a bake sale organizer.

3. And finally, please ask your friends to help us, too! Post a link to this page on your blog, Facebook profile, or twitter.

You can find more information about the bake sale and who’s involved by following us on Twitter @AustinBakes.
