Thank you to the volunteers, mediabusiness partners, and donors who gave so generously in support of our goal! Your help, time, tweets, Facebook shares, and blog posts helped make this event a success, and we are so grateful.

We’d also like to thank Melissa Skorpil for taking such gorgeous photos of the event. In addition to Melissa’s beautiful photos (featured in the slideshow above) you can check out our Flickr Group for more pictures from yesterday’s sale. If you have photos from yesterday, we’d love for you to share them on the Flickr Group.

While we’re at it, we’d like to take a moment to give our thanks to the Austin businesses who so graciously hosted Austin Bakes for Austin. Volunteer sales were held at Whole Foods Market Lamar, Foreign & Domestic, Sugar Circus Bakery, Make It Sweet, Crema Bakery & Cafe. Springdale Farm held a satellite sale at their farm stand yesterday, and helped to raise an extra $111.00 for Austin Disaster Relief Network.
