The response to Austin Bakes for Harvey has been so enthusiastic we’ve decided to raise our goal, doubling it from $10k to $20k!
How can you help with that? We’ve got a lot of volunteers signed up to bake and to work the tables at each location, so what we need more of are guaranteed shoppers! Talk to your friends, coworkers, book club, gym buddies and neighbors. Invite them on Facebook, but take the time to send a personal message if you can, about how much it would mean to you if they could stop by while you’re volunteering or come with you to drop off your baked goods so you can do a little shopping together.
Spread the word on social media either through our event on Facebook, or by sharing our tweets and our Instagram posts. (Or all three!)
Of course you need to know where to find us on the 16th, so we have a few updates on locations: We will no longer be at the downtown farmer’s market and our South Congress location has moved to Jo’s Coffee.

We’ll keep you updated on everything as we get closer to the sale! Let us know if you have any questions, or want to get involved.
I have made a public Google Map with the latest location info. Here’s the link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1wd4pxH2oxqPnf4BJ7IHBaGmzPcM&usp=sharing
Please add the link (possibly shortened if that’s easy) to the website and/or Facebook page… the more mentions it gets, the more it will be seen and linked to by others (= top results on Google!)
Think your officemates or neighbors would like a map? A PDF printout is attached to this email. Distribute widely!
I’ve tried to e-mail Michelle Nezambadi for the South Crema lication, but her e-mail bounced. I guess I’ll just drop them off at 10 in the mirning.
