We’re adding lots of business partners to the bake sale, and this afternoon we sent out a blanket press release about Austin Bakes for Bastrop. I also just sent volunteer information to our 86th volunteer!

In spite of all this progress, we still need items to sell at all seven locations, and help spreading the word about the bake sale. If you can help or want more information, please send us an email to get involved. We’ll send you the sign-up sheet for the location of your choice, and more details about our needs and logistical plans for next Saturday.

Lots of people have asked for a blog button so that they can advertise the bake sale on their blog. It’s here! You can grab the code for the button from the sidebar at the right and stick it wherever you want. The image is sized to be a 125×125 square, the perfect size for a Facebook or Twitter profile picture.

We also have fliers for the bake sale, thanks to volunteer Lisa. Please consider printing one of these for your break room bulletin board at work. There’s a low-res version that’s small enough to email, too.
